We’re excited to welcome Nick Kyriakides-Crowe, an undergraduate student from Houston, TX, who is joining the Tringides Lab for a summer research rotation! Nick is currently studying Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California. His research interests lie at the intersection of neuroscience and engineering, with a particular focus on neural circuit dynamics and the development of closed-loop neuromodulation systems. During his time in the lab, Nick will be exploring how soft materials and neuroengineering platforms can be leveraged for next-generation neuromodulation technologies. Outside the lab, Nick enjoys hanging out with his dog Warren, going on hikes and beach trips, and traveling whenever he gets the chance. Welcome to the team, Nick—we’re thrilled to have you on board and look forward to a summer of exploration, collaboration, and discovery!
