This week, we said goodbye (or see you soon!) to Yimeng, our undergraduate visiting student, as she returned home after her time in the lab. Yimeng brought immense curiosity, enthusiasm, and a wonderful collaborative spirit to every project she touched, and we’re grateful for the energy she added to the group.
To send her off, the lab gathered for a small farewell party—complete with plenty of pizza, wings, and lots of laughter. It was a great chance for everyone to celebrate her contributions and wish her well before she headed back. We’re thankful for all of Yimeng’s hard work during her visit and excited to see where her academic journey takes her next. The lab won’t be the same without her, but we’re cheering her on from Houston.
