Welcome Ava to the group! Joining us from Penn State and having grown up in California, we are thrilled to have you with us. Your sunny disposition and extreme creativity are sure to bring a fresh perspective to our team. Ava Zoba is a Ph.D. student in the lab, hailing from Yucaipa, California. She completed her undergraduate degrees at Pennsylvania State University, where she earned a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in nanotechnology. Her impressive academic background and diverse skill set make her a valuable addition to our research team.
Ava’s research interests lie in the innovative field of using soft materials for nanomedicine drug delivery. This cutting-edge area of study holds great promise for developing new treatments and improving patient outcomes. Ava’s dedication to exploring the potential of soft materials in nanomedicine demonstrates her commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and making a meaningful impact in the field of biomedical engineering. Outside of the lab, Ava enjoys a variety of activities that keep her active and engaged. She loves going to the beach, playing volleyball, reading, and attending sports games.
